New Members

No better way to start off the new year than by welcoming a couple of new members.

We are delighted to announce that Joseph Giret KC and Huw Davies have now joined 1EC Barristers.

Joseph Giret KC  is a formidable civil and commercial practitioner and mediator and has been listed as a leading silk in the Legal 500 since 2021. He specialises in

  • Alternative Dispute Resolution and Mediation

Huw Davies joins us as a specialist in dispute resolution, focusing on arbitration and mediation in the UK and internationally.

As an arbitrator and mediator he has extensive experience in areas including employment issues, regulatory frameworks, inquiries, corporate governance, commercial contracts, investment agreements, and construction-related matters in both the public and private sectors.

Huw is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and an accredited Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) commercial mediator.

And hitting the ground running, Huw has also contributed his first article to our chambers blog (see below).
